What's for sale?
This is a bone china, Royal Standard "trio" of teacup, saucer and plate decorated in an Art Deco design.
Royal Standard was made by Chapmans Longton of Staffordshire. Their mark dates it between 1930 and 1949 and reads:
- Royal Standard
- Bone China
- England
We like using non-identical, but similar trios to make up a tea set. They're interesting to use, nice to display and you can always change what's in the "set".
What condition is it in?
- Second-hand
- In good condition
- The reverse of the plate has a series of hairlines in the centre, but is is sound.
What are the measurements?
- The trio is 7cm high
- The plate is 16cm in diameter
- It all weighs 390 grams
