What's for sale?
This is an early 20th century, cut-glass sugar caster or shaker, with silver-plated top and collar.
The body is a tall and slender, Art Nouveau style and it has a twist-off top with the look of a pavilion roof and finial.
The glass has been engraved with a delicate pattern: a bordered panel runs around the top, interrupted by four thumb cuts, connected to one another by a trailing pattern. The flared base has a simple star cut.
What condition is it in?
- Second-hand
- In reasonable condition
- The glass has no chips or cracks
- The top is a secure and tight fit
- The plating is tarnished and a little worn but still showing as silver overall
