This is a large, hand-made, earthenware slab vase, made by Bob Dawe at his Red Barn pottery in Suffolk.
This is fairly rare example, different in style to the majority of his work that we come across.
A variation of the Red Barn mark is impressed on the base. It was probably made during the mid 1960s.

- A chip on the corner of one side as shown
- A chip on the rear at the edge of the motif panel
