What's for sale?
This is a nice example of a lead crystal decanter, overlaid with cobalt blue glass and cut with a fan and cross-hatched pattern to reveal the clear glass beneath.
It's a well made item, and heavy enough for us to believe that it is made from 24% lead crystal.
The body has been decorated with delicate fan cuts and larger, cross-hatched panels. A clear horizontal band visually separates the neck, which has a number of long, fluted cuts.
The stopper has been shaped to a point and cut to match the body, with smaller, cross-hatched panels.
