What's for sale?
This is a medium-sized, opalescent glass bowl from the mid 20th century. It was made in France and is decorated with a moulded pattern of concentric, diamond-shaped figures.
The milky opalescence is the result of crystallization, which is caused by the glass cooling at different rates, according to its thickness. Objects made in this manner will change their appearance as the light around them changes. Sabino and Lalique are probably the most well known for this type of glass.
