What's for sale?

This is a large, 1940s, Art Deco handled vase, or ornamental pitcher, made by Staffordshire pottery manufacturer Wade. 

The stylish shape and relief design is pattern 371 and this is in the rarer blue. It was also available in green, orange and white.

Who made it and when?

It was made by Wade Pottery in the 1940s. It's impressed and stamped on the base with:

  • England

What condition is it in?

  • Second-hand
  • In acceptable condition
  • There's a chip to the base
  • There's discoloration on the inside from use
